Cleaning Service Head
Royal London Hospital
Salary: £46,374 (inc LW - AfC Band 7)

Working at Barts and the Royal London NHS Trust, Carillion has a contract for delivery of all soft-services, including cleaning in as part of a prestigious high profile PFI project.

We have a vacancy for the Cleaning Service Head at the Royal London site, based in Whitechapel, East London.

Reporting to a Facilities Manager, you will have responsibility for the day to day management of the cleaning service employing 300 staff, providing high quality and customer sensitive cleaning services in a challenging inner city hospital environment. In addition to the day to day operation, you will also assist with preparing the service for the completion and handover of the new hospital, currently being completed.

Ideally you would have gained service experience working within a hospital environment, but you will have first hand knowledge of managing a large and complex cleaning contract, and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a very busy workload, build and motivate teams, manage and control budgets have effective communication skills and have a full appreciation of the importance of Heath and Safety.
