Eastbourne cleaners shine at Business Awards
An East Sussex cleaning company has been recognised for its high quality customer service in this year's Eastbourne Business Awards. The Local Cleaners TLC, which was established in the town three years ago, scooped 'Highly Commended' in the Quality Customer Service category.
The organisation employs eight members of staff who specialise in predominantly domestic cleaning in and around Eastbourne.
"I am absolutely thrilled that my company was nominated and recognised in this category," says founder and director of TLC, Jules Anderson. "Taking care of our customers is absolutely imperative to maintaining a smooth operation and a happy working relationship.
"My staff are taught from the outset how important looking after the client is, not least because we work in their home, which is very private and personal.
"My employees are on the cleaning front line as ambassadors of TLC. Not only do they need to work to extremely high standards, they also need to demonstrate outstanding customer care, which I believe we have achieved by being awarded this absolutely wonderful accolade."
The Local Cleaners TLC was founded in October 2012 by Jules, a former BBC Sussex and Heart Sussex Newsreader and Travel Reporter. Since launching TLC, Jules has been overwhelmed by the positive feedback she has received from clients, which she shares through the company's social media sites and via the TLC Blog.
This is the second award in a matter of weeks for the domestic cleaning company. In October, The Local Cleaners TLC was awarded Highly Commended in the Sussex Women in Business Awards for Best Small Business.
