EcoWaste 2016 opens its doors in just over a month
EcoWaste 2016 will take place in Abu Dhabi from 18th to 21st January 2016, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Hosted by renewable energy company, Masdar, in partnership with Tadweer (The Center of Waste Management in Abu Dhabi), and co-located with the World Future Energy Summit and the International Water Summit, EcoWaste is part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, and aims to support the region's urgent waste disposal challenges and needs in the quest for sustainable development and environmental protection.
At EcoWASTE 2016, a two-day conference will be organised alongside the exhibition by Tadweer, where specialists from the pest control sector from Australia, Spain, US, KSA and the Middle East, will present in-depth papers on the latest trends and eco-friendly techniques related to pest control practices.
The EcoWaste exhibition will showcase the latest innovations and technologies, facilitate the exchange of best practice and open up new business opportunities, thus playing an important role in helping municipal authorities, industries and large corporations to meet ambitious landfill and recycling targets.
The event is designed to cover the entire solid waste management services and solutions required to address the dramatic increase per capita of waste production in the region and the new methods of reusing, reducing and recycling whilst maintaining a sustainable environment, in an effort to:
- Help strengthen solid waste management efficiency
- Spread awareness amongst communities to improve the quality of life enjoyed and expected
- Address regulatory mandates developed with budget conscious, innovative and functional design solutions
- Highlight all the efforts, achievements and strategies of CWM as a lead agency responsible for controlling and coordinating waste management activities throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
EcoWaste aims to become the leading international specialised event for sustainable waste management and recycling, bringing together leading local and international technology and service providers, local and regional buyers, and industry professionals from both the private and public sectors.
