Floor cleaning company doubles size of premises

* Tesco-B-A.jpgWarwickshire-based Beaver Floorcare was engaged recently through flooring manufacturer Relay Floors to clean and restore the vinyl interlocking tiles to their former glory at a Tesco store.

The call came because the onsite cleaning contractor was not delivering the desired standards for the store manager and the high level of appearance that was expected.

"As a specialist floorcare contractor, we are utilised by many flooring manufacturers to demonstrate how their flooring should be maintained," says Beaver Floorcare's Tom Campton. "This is beneficial for all parties regarding what levels of appearance are achievable.

Using a Fimap imx scrubber drier, red pads, an alkaline cleaner and a polymer maintenance product, Beaver deep cleaned the surface and extracted the dirt from the floor, before the polymer was applied to enrich and protect the floor surface - and as the before/after pictures show, the routine clearly made a difference.

"If you are looking to engage our contracted floor maintenance services throughout your facilities we can provide you with quotations for a one-year, three-year or even a five-year contract," says Tom. "You will then have absolute peace in knowing that your flooring will keep its original appearance for longer and perform correctly and you will also maximise its longevity.

"We cover commercial, industrial and high end residential works on a national basis. The knowledge we have on cleaning systems and chemicals enables us to deliver a high quality floor cleaning service.

"Clients include KPMG, Wembley, Boots, Harveys, Birmingham University, DFS and Bensons for Beds."

Established 27 years ago, the business, run by father and son directors John and Tom Campton, employs around 14 staff but hopes now to take on more people. It has just moved into 3,895sq.ft new premises that are more than twice the size of its old ones.
