Esclean 2016 is almost here!

* Esclean.jpgEsclean 2016, the exhibition for the professional hygiene and cleaning industry which is held in Madrid, Spain, is just over three weeks away - and the organisers are saying that if the 2014 edition is anything to go by, this forthcoming event is something to get excited about.

"The 2014 edition of Esclean was a giant leap towards the sectors' objectives," they say. "It succeeded in promoting professionalisation [of the industry] and guaranteed product quality. It encouraged a culture of professional cleaning and hygiene, fostered the launch of action aimed at reducing costs while improving the hygienic result of cleaning and disseminated the idiosyncrasies of a sector that creates employment and wealth and which is committed to the environment, enhanced well-being, quality of life and public health."

Two years on, from 15th -17th June 2016, Esclean is back as a leading event for meeting the sector's needs. IFEMA offers its facilities at Feria de Madrid as the ideal place to connect and do business. Part of the second Sustainable Environmental Solutions Forum, FSMS, the sector's cross-cutting character has been boosted by co-locating the show with other events, creating synergies amongst exhibitors and visitors alike.

Esclean is organised in collaboration with the Association of Manufacturers & Importers of Industrial Cleaning Machinery, AEFIMIL. It is part of the Sustainable Environmental Solutions Forum, FSMS, along with the 18th International Town Planning and Environment Trade Fair, TECMA, and the Cities Forum; the 5th International Recycling & Recovery Trade fair, SRR, and the 2nd Envifood Meeting Point, which is supported by the Spanish Food & Drink Industry Federation, FIAB.

"In this privileged setting, Esclean will be the perfect venue for cleaning industry professionals, including everyone from operators to government managers, companies, sales representatives, industry professionals, associations, hospitals, food, hotel, restaurant and catering industry to meeting," say the organisers, noting that the sector in Spain consists of around 16,000 companies and provides some 360,000 jobs.

"How often do you ask yourself who keeps our cities and workplaces spick and span?" they ask. "The companies that exhibit at Esclean are often hard on these tasks while the rest of us are fast asleep. It's a world of hydro cleaners, sweepers, vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, equipment for cleaning carpets and upholstery, and so on that takes care of our hygiene and health.

"At Esclean you will be able to visit Hako, one of the main suppliers of premium, high-tech cleaning machines and vehicles. The company's everyday work consists of developing innovations that boost efficiency, respect for the environment and make everything easier to use.

"Karcher, one of the world's leading suppliers of efficient, environmentally friendly cleaning systems, will exhibit cleaning equipment that combines functionality, ease of use and high aesthetic standards. Innovation and a determination to offer the best solutions have enabled this company to amass a portfolio of more than 1,300 patents and registered designs that showcase its inventive spirit and innovative power.

"Nilfisk will be exhibiting products that make the world a cleaner place at Esclean, a mission that began when it created its first, revolutionary vacuum cleaner more than a century ago. The company wants to 'enable sustainable cleaning worldwide to improve quality of life', clearing the path and making everyday life easier for their customers.

"The exhibition area will also feature IP Cleaning Espana and its professional cleaning systems and machines. IPC sees Spain as a strategic market, given that it one of the most important with the best future prospects in Europe. Maypro, S.A. distributes and sells industrial machinery, cleaning products and accessories, while DAISA, Distribuidora Acumuladores Importados, S.A., suppliers an enormous range of batteries and accumulators, battery chargers and testers, and car radios, alarms and audio-visual equipment.

"Kruger Technology will attract visitors to Esclean with one of the most extensive catalogues in the sector, with quality products and immediate availability, offering advice and technical services. Lavorwash Iberica will show how it builds and markets hydro-polishers, vacuum cleaners and steam cleaners, among others. Tennant Company calls on its experience to design, manufacture and market its innovative products. Widely known among the public, Thomil Profesional has been in business for 50 years, helping millions of householders throughout Spain. The company continues to work with organisations and businesses to achieve hygiene, health, cleanliness and prosperity through chemistry.

"But Esclean won't stop there, because in cities where more and more glass buildings are appearing, there is an enormous need for companies such as Puralimp, S.L. that manufacture and distribute glass cleaning systems for use at height with carbon fibre and fibre glass poles, telescopic and modular poles and reverse osmotic water filtration equipment using the most advanced materials in the market.

"Esclean aims to be a trade fair for these and other companies, presenting business opportunities; stimulating sales for sector suppliers; promoting sector networking; creating forums for debate; driving national and international projection, and serving as an effective launch pad for innovations. All in all, an unmissable event for the sector, and well worth visiting."
