Indepth Managed Services mobilises new facilities management contract with Eddie Stobart

* Eddie-Stobart.jpgIndepth Managed Services can officially announce its appointment to provide cleaning services for transport and logistics giant, Eddie Stobart. Indepth is servicing Eddie Stobart's purpose-built service support centre in Appleton, Warrington; providing daily cleaning services. The centre boasts a unique design, distinguished by the clever use of fitted-out shipping containers as interior office and training spaces.

While the service support centre was being designed, Indepth conducted a cleaning survey in order to submit a detailed professional proposal to meet the exact needs of the Eddie Stobart team.

Having provided daily cleaning services for a few months, Indepth has developed an excellent working relationship with the Eddie Stobart site facilities team. The client has expressed its satisfaction with Indepth's management of the account and the high cleaning standards provided.

Julie Burdon, facilities manager from Eddie Stobart says: "We are very happy with the managed service that Indepth provides. It fully understands the importance of our site standards - particularly with the unique nature of the service support centre's interior design and the cleaning survey conducted during the design phase allowed the company to meet our high standards from day one."

The Indepth team encounters significant challenges with the cleaning contract due to the unique nature of the building's interior design. The cleaners are required to clean building spaces that mimic vehicle and truck interiors. As well as having training areas made up of shipping containers, the reception desk is a repurposed cab in Eddie Stobart livery and there is a Volvo cab split in two in the main area. There is also an exhibit on site consisting of a number of Stobart trucks, from an original model dating from 1974 to a modern day truck.

Chris Stewart from Indepth Managed Services says: "Acquiring a prestigious locally-based client like Eddie Stobart is a positive achievement for our team. It is further enhanced by the quality of the professional relationship between our organisations. I am confident that the team will continue to deliver the high standard of service that Eddie Stobart and our national clients have come to expect from us."
