RCM's new Kilo scrubber drier offers increased productivity

RCM says its new Kilo compact, ride-on scrubber drier can increase productivity, since it offers precision manoeuvring in narrow spaces, a good running time and perfect drying, while a comfortable 'true' seat and user friendly controls can keep the operator content for long periods. There is a double brush version that offers even better performance.

"Kilo is the smallest professional scrubber drier in the market and is 'unique' thanks to the original and innovative technical solutions of its design and thanks to the high efficiency of the scrubbing system, the drying in turns (swinging half-circle squeegee), the dust emissions control (dust filter) and the comfortable use (steering wheel built in controls)," says the company's Marzia Mucci.

"It Is the only machine of its category equipped with a proper seat that offers the option of being fully adjustable in order to fit any operator size and habit. All controls are easy to reach and located in the steering wheel. The One Touch button starts scrubbing and suction systems at once.

"More maneuverable than a walk behind scrubber and as productive as a ride in machine, it can reduce the cleaning cost by up to 38%."

These savings are afforded by a sprinkling system that efficiently sprays solution all over the scrubbing path (which means less water and cleaning detergent is used), while the collection basket prevents solid debris that could be sucked up from the ground, from ending up into the recovery tank and clogging the discharge, reducing downtime for machine cleaning and maintenance.

Downtime for maintenance is further reduced because air exhausted by the suction motor is cleaned by means of a filter which also limits air pollution and reduces noise, and by the sliding battery compartment which guarantees easy battery maintenance and facilitates quick battery swap.

"Thanks to its shape and swing angle, the squeegee perfectly surrounds the scrub head. This guarantees perfect drying even in very tight turns," says Marzia.
