Reconfigurable work platform combines the flexibility and strength

* Reconfigurable-work-platform.jpgThe Lobo System is a re-configurable work platform product that combines the flexibility and strength of traditional scaffolding with the simplicity and mobility of tower systems.

This combination provides a versatile access system that has applications right across facilities management and maintenance.

Facilities Management companies must provide a safe and efficient workplace and to stay competitive must look for cost reduction. A safe work environment ensures continued productivity by minimising lost work days and work restrictions due to injuries.

With the increasingly challenging economic climate, companies need to focus on aggressively reducing costs.

Jaguar Building Services, which maintains the New York Stock Exchange Building in London, has the same challenges as other Lobo Systems customers in this sector, for example, Dalkia, Kier, Cofley, Norland and Mitie are all hugely successful and provide services through the UK.

Office and Facilities Maintenance requires regular access to elevated areas, which are awkward and therefore difficult to reach. Escalators, stairs and plant rooms need a product that can solve access issues on a daily basis.

Working at height must be accomplished safely and traditionally, outsourced scaffolding companies and fixed aluminium tower systems have been deployed. However, outsourced scaffolding labour is expensive and drives up costs, lowering profits and is not available 24/7.

Aluminium frame type systems can be cumbersome, inflexible, difficult to transport and will not adjust to fit into awkward areas. They cannot adapt when each task is different from the last.

Lobo Systems' success in these areas can be attributed to its safety features and its flexibility. It can be assembled quickly, easily and safely around and above desks or restricted access areas - by your own in-house maintenance crews.

This means outsourced scaffolding labour costs can be reduced without comprising safety. Areas previously considered difficult to get to can now be accessed with ease for maintenance and cleaning purposes. The Lobo System is available 24/7 and so puts you in control of how and when you schedule your maintenance tasks.
