Through World of Facilities, UBM India will provide a trade platform for the facilities management supplier industry to showcase their innovative products & services, network, and connect with key decision-makers from every level of a wide range of sectors.

The expo will also witness a high-profile conference where the fraternity will discuss industry trends, challenges and market insights and provide in-depth solutions to the challenges faced by the industry.

The expo will showcase an exciting array of novel products and services from smart solutions, security solutions, air conditioning & mechanical ventilation, energy management, environmental management, hygiene, cleaning and waste management solutions, FM software & IT solutions, facilities services, workplace, HR services and much more.

Well supported by associations - Hospitality Purchase Managers Forum (HPMF), Global Infra-facilities & Project Management Association (GIFPMA), The Infrastructure Facility Human Resource & Realty Association (iNFHRA) and Indian Pest Control Association (IPCA); Partners - Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL India ), Zeta Express, Cannon Hygiene, Hikvision and Maharashtra Fire Service, the event has attracted some key exhibitors. The FM market is estimated to grow from USD 28.90 billion in 2016 to USD 56.67 billion by 2021, at a high Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 14.42%. The rise in the number of constructions of residential and commercial buildings including hotels, offices, shopping malls, and hospitals provides immense growth potential for this sector.

A key highlight of the expo is a two-day conference that will focus on the challenges faced by facilities managers, administration and operations managers, purchasing managers, facility technical heads on cost management, manpower management, integrated facilities management, automation, security and new technologies/software. The conference will have two parallel tracks on both days featuring successful case studies handled by industry experts from India and around the globe on facility management.

Topics of the conference include - getting facility management to boardroom; technology and the changing role of facility managers; trends impacting the FM industry 2016 & beyond; driving value through technology to enable procurement; sustainability - strategic or tactical approach?; cleaning, hygiene, waste management & green solutions; data, analytics & Internet of Things; smart buildings and energy procurement and evolving partnerships to name a few.

"The Government's continued drive on infrastructure has spurred a growth momentum for the real estate and construction industries as a whole," says Yogesh Mudras, managing director, UBM India. "This has further fuelled the growth of allied services.

"When it comes to allied services, facilities management takes the centre-stage. As per recent research reports, the facility management market is to grow to US$56.67 billion by 2021.

"With such a growing expanse, it makes perfect sense for us to put facilities management into the spotlight.

"Bringing the maiden edition of World of Facilities to the Indian subcontinent is just one of the many endeavours from UBM India to focus on the crucial importance of facilities management and to streamline business operations.

"I am sure this event will be able to bridge the needed knowledge gap and offer many facets of facilities management that are waiting to be tapped upon. I would sincerely request the industry to be a part of this first-ever show put together for exploring unlimited business opportunities and immense networking possibilities."
