Darren tackles Manchester to Blackpool bike ride for 'Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis'

* Darren-charity.jpgDirector of operations for Incredible Window Cleaning (sister company to Indepth Managed Services), Darran Yates is taking to the saddle to ride 52 miles from Manchester to Blackpool to raise money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.

This UK IPF charity is focused on improving the quality of life for pulmonary fibrosis patients and funding research to give people a better life and a future.

In 2016, Darran Yates' father was diagnosed with Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and sadly passed away within the month. Darren is taking part in the charity bike ride to help raise awareness of the condition and to support the charity in providing future care for those affected by this little-known condition. Darran has previously ridden for Help the Heroes and Cancer Research.

Darran works closely with the Federation of Window Cleaners (www.f-w-c.co.uk) and other industry icons that have generously sponsored him for his challenge. His shirt has been donated by PPE and health & safety clothing specialist, J & K Ross Warrington.

Says Darran: "I am delighted to be carrying out this bike ride for such a worthy cause and if my contribution helps Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis to improve the quality of life for at least one patient and raise awareness of this vicious disease, it will be a huge achievement."
