ISS wins the 2017 Best Swiss Employer Award

* ISS-best-Swiss.jpgISS Switzerland has won the '2017 Best Employer Award', based on the largest annual employee survey in Switzerland. For the second year in a row, ISS participated in the benchmarking survey to assess the satisfaction of its own employees, and once again ISS was able to secure the first place.

ISS Switzerland took first place in the category of 'Large companies with more than 1,000 employees', based on the positive feedback from the company's employees.

"We are incredibly proud to have won this renowned award again and thus be able to confirm last year's result," says André Nauer, country manager of ISS Switzerland.

"We are delighted with the positive feedback from our own ranks and see this as confirmation that we are in an excellent economic position, and as regards to corporate culture, respect, and employee development we are headed in the right direction."

Participating in the Swiss 2017 Best Employer Award provided ISS Switzerland with the opportunity to gain valuable insights and to derive optimisations where necessary.

A total of around 300 ISS employees from the front and back office were questioned by the external institute icommit, the response rate was 82%.

This is the 17th time the survey institute icommit has conducted the survey on employee satisfaction, which forms the basis for the Swiss Employer Award. It is the largest annual employee survey in Switzerland. Interested companies submit an extensive list of employees of various tiers and positions in addition to information about the company.

The external survey institute then randomly selects a representative number of employees, who are contacted. The survey addresses topics such as commitment, satisfaction, work situation, culture, structure, leadership, and knowledge transfer and is entirely anonymous.
