How does your cleaning cupboard rate?

* BISCs-MCS.jpgThe team on the British Institute of Cleaning Science stand posed alongside an open cleaning cupboard, there to demonstrate how a good cleaning cupboard should look (top shelves) compared with how a poor one might be filled (bottom shelf).

Cleaners have to work hard and to tight schedules and if the cleaning cupboard is always kept in good order it enables them to grab what they need quickly and avoids the possibility that they might cut corners when it comes to colour coding protocols. It also makes it easier for them to see when stocks need to be replenished.

With over 50 years experience and a global remit, BICSc delivers practical, hands-on training courses, technical support and professional membership for the cleaning industry worldwide.

Its network includes more than 25,000 individual and corporate members, both in the UK and overseas, making it one of the largest and most diverse communities of cleaning professionals.

The Institute's mission to raise the status and standards of the cleaning industry through education and accredited training, thereby protecting the operative, providing a clean and safe environment, preserving assets, promoting sustainability and producing best practice.
