Bio Productions managing director to join Green Organisation awards judging panel

* Angela-Gill.jpgAngela Gill, managing director of Bio Productions, has been invited to join the judging panel for the international Green Organisation 'Green Apple Environment 2018' awards.

She will be one of a team of experts from a diverse range of industries that will review and mark all the entries, which are submitted by companies from all around the world. Judging takes place in August and Awards ceremony is held at The House of Commons in November.

"It's a great honour to be asked," says Angela. "We are a previous Green Apple award winner for our Biological Urinal Blocks and Blu Away Biological Washroom Cleaner.

"We also won an award for the work we did at Gatwick Airport to control its washroom problems & odours, so we are a proud holder of three awards.

The Green Apple Environment Awards recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. Launched in 1994 by The Green Organisation, they have become well established as one of the most popular environmental campaigns in the world.

They have now extended into the Green World Awards - the biggest environmental awards campaign on Earth, with entries from Governments, Ministries and Regional Authorities as well as companies, organisations, communities, etc. across the entire private and public sectors.

The Green World Awards are fundamental to The Green Organisation's philosophy of helping others to help the environment, because the awards ceremony is held in a different country every year - raising awareness and involvement around the globe. It began in London, followed by winners from around the world attending events in New Zealand, South Korea, Dubai... The journey continues, and every carbon footprint caused by winners and their guests is offset by the planting of trees in co-operation with Green Earth Appeal and the United Nations.
