RIA introduces new website for 2012 Convention
The Restoration Industry Association will be holding its 67th Annual Leadership Summit and Industry Expo at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center and Hotel in Myrtle Beach, S.C., from March 27th -29th - and it has recently introduced a new website to provide information to the industry on the event.
"This site provides a real-time look at the exhibition hall for both attendees and exhibitors, a complete listing of the sessions RIA will be offering and all of the details attendees need to make their plans to attend the Convention," explains RIA Executive Director Tim Shaw.
Major sessions at the event include several pre-event workshops on business growth, HVAC theories and principles for restoration contractors, working with adjusters and contents cleaning; a keynote address on innovative marketing and breakout sessions on business development, understanding the minds of adjusters, how to effectively use social media, closing the insurance gap between adjusters and contractors, a look at payment issues with mortgage holders, issues in employment law, cleaning soft contents, and an update from The Clean Trust on its programmes and organisational changes.
"RIA has a reputation for providing new ideas, trends and concepts at its Leadership Summit and Industry Expo," says RIA President Frank Headen, CR, WLS, CMH. "The variety of topics presented at these sessions allow attendees to gather information from the leading legal, insurance and cleaning and restoration professionals from around the world."
The Association (formerly the Association of Specialists in Cleaning & Restoration) has member firms worldwide. It provides industry leadership, supports science, and promotes best practices for cleaning and restoration.
