Envirionix gains Food Safety Certification on Eco-Safe Cleaning Solutions

Envirionix, manufactures of a range of non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning solutions, is delighted that two of its cleaning products have passed food taint tests conducted by Campden BRI to BS EN ISO4120: 2007.

Envirionix ES Cleaner and Stain Remover, together with Envirionix QA combined cleaner and disinfectant, have met the requirements of the standard and as a result are safe to be used on any surface in contact with foodstuffs.

"This is a major step forward for the company in that a number of blue chip food manufacturers have requested food safety testing by Campden BRI," explains Brent Dunleavey, managing director of Envirionix. "The companies have been evaluating both products against the usual caustic products and have concluded that the superior cleaning power demonstrated by Envirionix is such that food safety testing would be the final piece in the jigsaw."

Envirionix products are new generation, eco-safe and sustainable cleaning products which are non-toxic, contain no volatile organic compoundss, are pH neutral and 99% biodegradable in days. They also exhibit phenomenal cleaning power on all types of surfaces.
