Paperdi

If there were to be a prize for the best stand, my vote would have to go to Italian converter Paperdi.

Although the company hadn't actually manufactured the stand (which was made completely from cardboard - from the displays and reception desk to the chairs and tables and stools) it didn't matter. It let visitors see that this was a disposables supplier and the stand simply drew people onto it, who were keen to see everything close up and discover whether the seats were comfortable or not and whether they would take their weight.

What clever marketing!

John and I thought how useful it would be to have a few of these chairs in flatpack format for when lots of unexpected guests arrive and need to be seated at the dining table!
