Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals launches
For more than 30 years managers of cleaning and allied services within the public sector, but especially within the National Health Service, have had their networking needs met by the Hospital Domestic Administrators' Association - latterly Association of Domestic Management.
In 2006 ADM's Council of Management spent time reflecting on how best to meet the needs of today's members as a result of which the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals has come into being.
Launched at ADM National Conference 2007 in Blackpool the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals - AHCP - will continue to represent Managers in all these Public and Private Sector services:
* Cleaning
* Domestic
* Hotel
* Support
With well over 500 members - and growing daily - AHCP includes managers and supervisory staff in all these areas; as well as members supporting these services in the supply and manufacturing worlds.
The Association will continue to support its members by focusing its efforts in raising the profile of cleaning in healthcare settings, championing education and examples of best practice.
There is a strong Regional Network throughout the UK and in Ireland , so there's help available near you!
