Launching a new company into an established market can be a challenging task - as Alan Barnley and Gary Bishop recognised before making the decision to set up Absolute Cleaning Supplies, in Poole, Dorset.
Having gained a wealth of knowledge from running their own successful contract cleaning and carpet cleaning businesses, the pair realised the importance of using top quality products and equipment in their work. They had tried and tested many brands over their 22 years of collective experience in the cleaning industry, and both had become hooked on Chemspec Europe's range. Consequently, the choice of which major brand to stock in their new janitorial supplies venture was almost a forgone conclusion.

Alongside the full stock of chemicals is a comprehensive range of cleaning machines and accessories as well as a good range of paper products. The pair have also linked with a local engineer to offer machine repairs.
Alan and Gary identify the importance of creating an effective online presence in a fast moving world, and with this in mind have made ACS primarily a web based company offering a fast turn around of orders. They will of course, always welcome visitors at their centrally located warehouse in Poole, Dorset to offer advice and guidance on the products and equipment that will provide the most effective results possible. Their website gives customers the opportunity to order items and either collect the following morning or choose one of the delivery options for those further afield or too busy to come in.
ACS plan to hold regular hands-on training sessions, not only to refresh existing operatives, but also to encourage new people into the industry. "With the help of Chemspec Europe," remarks Gary, "we have total confidence to provide this service, having attended many such events ourselves in the past. It will also be great to see all our customers and get them together to exchange any issues or problems they encounter along the way".
"Our aim", adds Alan, "is to offer the personal approach of a local distributor, with events such as the training Gary mentioned, together with the convenience of a web based supplier, so we can give the customer all the choices they need in today's competitive market place".
