Clean Expo Ireland held in Dublin

The Royal Dublin Society exhibition complex was the venue for the fifth staging of Clean Expo Ireland last week, supported by over 40 exhibitors from Ireland and the UK.

A brisk opening morning heralded good attendance for the two days and most exhibitors reported good quality enquiries from distributors and contract cleaners, with a delighted Richard Dyson in particular of chemicals manufacturer Greyland, commenting that, "It was quality rather than quantity, with no time-wasters or people just looking for freebies." He added that from the enquiries the Greyland stand had taken future business "was likely."

Clean Expo is jointly sponsored by the ICCA (Irish Contract Cleaners Association) and BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) and is the only dedicated exhibition for the Irish Cleaning Industry, providing visitors with a one-stop opportunity to find out about new methods of cleaning, services, supplies and legislation.

BICSc took the opportunity to launch The Health Care Certificate, for local authorities and hospital staff not normally involved in cleaning, whilst the ICCA were keen to welcome new members to the Association. The ICCA can be contacted on (Dublin) 01-6051667 or email jennifer.hayes@ibec.ie

Cleanzine will be running a feature in a forthcoming issue highlighting the Irish Cleaning Industry. For further details contact news@thecleanzine.com
