A new name - new look - new funding - new horizons
London Property Maintenance, the 23yr old Kent based cleaning, security and property maintenance company, has new owners, a new name and a new corporate identity.
The Company has changed its name to LPM as part of a move to transform itself from a predominantly South East business into a truly national operation. It also has a new navy and lime logo and corporate identity.
LPM, now backed by Sovereign Capital, the private equity investor, is expanding its operations by organic growth, with an expanded sales team, and is also on the acquisition trail, as it seeks to build from its bases in Sidcup, Coventry and Manchester.
Heading the business is David Howroyd, formerly Managing Director of the cleaning, pest control and security businesses at Rentokil Initial. He said: "LPM is a very strong business, with highly capable people and a core of long standing, blue chip clients. Alongside our investment in growth, we are also looking to buy cleaning, security and associated support services businesses which will widen our offer. We are talking to a number of firms and hope to make some announcements shortly. The new name and logo style are key to our repositioning of the company."
LPM's cleaning business focuses on commercial office cleaning, with a particularly strong presence in the shopping centre market. The security business, Axis Security Services, operates in the South East and also has a significant presence in shopping malls. Additional specialist services include total washroom services, IT cleaning, window cleaning and industrial cleaning. There is also a specialist property maintenance business in the South East, which will retain the name London Property Maintenance.
The backbone of all LPM services is health, safety and the environment, and the company has a full time Environmental Manager and recently won a second coveted Green Apple Award for environmental initiatives. It is accredited to ISO 14001 (environmental management) standards, and is registered to collect and dispose of environmental waste.
LPM is registered ISO9001 and are members of CSSA and BICS.
