CMS Purus Awards 2007: Four winners announced
After seven hours of consultation and in-depth discussions the jury has now made its decision. There are four winners of the Purus Award - the award linked to the forthcoming German cleaning exhibition CMS 2007 - Cleaning.Management.Services.
* Technical Category 1: 'Machinery for cleaning and extended infrastructural services' - Nilfisk Advance GmbH: BA 551 walk-behind scrubber/drier. "The entire product line expresses a compactness and evidence of a fundamental approach to design and styling," said the jury.
* Technical Category 2: 'Equipment and products for cleaning and extended infrastructural services' (two winners) -
Vermop Salmon GmbH: the extended group of Equipe Cleanjet cleaning systems. The consistent development and expansion of this system, based on a tried and tested, and highly successful principle, was praised by the jury as "pioneering".
Hart Versand Ludwig GmbH: the Aqua GO hose adapter with styling qualities that derive from its function. "Form becomes principle" - leaving out anything that impedes the smooth functioning of this item - was the jury's comment.
* Technical Category 3 'Cleaning and care products and industrial hygiene products' - The TORK dispenser series from SCA Hygiene Products GmbH. "A group of products that displays a consistently high level of user-friendliness, presented in an outstanding way," said the jury.
No prize was awarded in the Technical Category 4 'Operating equipment (technology, software and workwear)'.
The winners will be honoured on 19th September during the official reception at CMS 2007, while the related products can be seen during the trade show in a special display in Hall 2.2.
