Charity run

Dear Jan,

Its that time of year again and I know you get loads of requests for sponsorship but perhaps you will give serious consideration to supporting a charity that does brilliant work - The London Centre for children with cerebral palsy of which I am a trustee. It helps children from all over London /Home Counties and is the only school of its kind for the region.

I am a member of a team of 14 from my company running the London 10k on Sunday 12th July and four of our clients are running with us. We in turn are part of a 40+ team running for the Trust.

I know - its only 10k and not a marathon but last year I managed it in 75 mins with a bad back and loads of painkillers! This year I hope to do around 60 mins drug-free, some backers are offering double if I get get below 60 mins - fat chance !
