Conference programme for 2010 Amsterdam exhibition announced
ISSA has this week released initial details of the conference programme it will be organising at the ISSA/Interclean-Amsterdam 2010 exhibition, which is being held from 26th to 29th April at the RAI Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam.
The programme will feature diverse, exciting and topical presentations, panel debates and forums. It will also include a guide to help the cleaning and hygiene industry better understand the concept of 'sustainability' and how to practically apply it in daily cleaning regimes.
Other sessions include an intriguing look at the future of cleaning. Taken from a global perspective, this will introduce both emerging trends and specific new technologies that are likely to improve both the working lives of both cleaning operatives and building occupants over the next 10 years. Also of note will be a discussion on the subject of 'What constitutes clean?'
Standard setting and regulatory matters will also be covered in detail, including talks on the importance of certification and impact of standards such as REACH and the WEEE Directive.
Further sessions are being added currently and speakers confirmed for the event, but ISSA’s Director of Exhibition Services, Mark Armitage, is already confident that the rogramme for the next year’s Amsterdam show: “will be possibly the most interesting and topical conference programme ever seen at a cleaning industry exhibition anywhere in the world.”
