Free travel for ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam attendees (and no - it's not via pushbike!)

With the aim of stimulating the use of public transport by those attending the forthcoming ISSA/Interclean show, Amsterdam RAI has organised a deal with NS [Dutch Railways] which means that show visitors can claim a free return ticket between Amsterdam Schiphol and Amsterdam RAI during the show.

Discount travel is also available from other NS stations: a NS return ticket can be purchased for only € 12.50 and is valid from any station in the Netherlands.

Train tickets can only be ordered online by professional attendees if they pre-register for ISSA/Interclean (registration opens today). Alongside good NS discounts, visitors can also take the Gemeentelijk Vervoersbedrijf Amsterdam's [Amsterdam Municipal Public Transport] buses, trams and metros at reduced rates.

ISSA/Interclean 2010, World’s Leading Trade Fair for the Cleaning Industry will take place from Monday 26th – Thursday 29th April at the Amsterdam RAI.

As usual, ISSA will be organising a varied and educational seminar programme which will deal with the most contemporary themes in the sector. Entirely in line with current developments, sustainability is a recurring subject which two different seminars will discuss. The impact of the global economic crisis will also be discussed during the forums.

Other subjects include legislation and regulation, global measuring and quality systems, and how hygiene can combat health problems. The price of admission is € 50 for ISSA members and € 100 for non-ISSA members. This fee provides access to all the seminars.

The new products and innovations registered so far reveal that ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam exhibitors also consider sustainability very important. This will generate a great deal of international press attention due to the global focus on this subject.
