ISSA/Interclean Innovation Awards: nine finalists selected

The international trade jury of the ISSA/Interclean Innovation Awards has selected nine candidates from a total of 82 entries (a 7% increase in comparison to the 2008 edition). This increase underlines that innovation is viewed as one of the principal elements of successfully running a business, even in times of crisis.

The overall winner and the category winners of this prestigious, international prize for the best innovation in professional cleaning will be announced during the trade show's opening on Monday, 26th April 2010. ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam will take place from Monday 26th to Thursday 29th April 2010 at the Amsterdam RAI.

The award has three categories:

1) Machines, accessories and components
2) Equipment/tools for cleaning, care and safety
3) Cleaning Management and Training Solutions
Nominations in the category ‘Machines, accessories and components’:

* Hako-Werke for the product Hako-AntiBac (Germany – stand 01.101) Antibacterial dirty water tank
* IPC Gansow for the product CT40 BT50 ECS (Italy – stand 01.435) Scrubber drier CT40 ECS
* Karcher for the product BD 50/40 RS (the Netherlands – stand 01.135) Cleaning machine BD 50/40 RS
Nominations in the category ‘Equipment/tools for cleaning, care and safety’:

* Baudoin Wash-Systems for the product Travelator Cleaner (the Netherlands – stand 02.102) Travelator Cleaner
* MGS International for the product F.I.T. Floormop Injection Tool (the Netherlands – stand 04.307) F.I.T. Floormop Injection Tool
* The Clean Air Factory for the product BLOE Connect (the Netherlands – stand 10.108) BLOE Connect, a unit fitted between a toilet bowl and the wall
