Safe, efficient and green kitchen cleaning

The new Divermite Starter Pack from JohnsonDiversey includes everything required for accurate, efficient and safe use of concentrated cleaning products in busy kitchens and food preparation areas. Divermite provides accurate mixing for improved cleaning performance and reduces the risk of contact with concentrated chemicals for enhanced safety. By carefully controlling dosing, the system helps ensure the cost of an individual trigger bottle or bowl of washing up can be as little as 12p.

The Starter Pack is ideal for smaller kitchens and is initially available in two versions. The first includes the Divermite push button dispenser and a pouch of Suma D1 detergent and is specifically for washing crockery, pots, pans and cutlery. The second includes the Divermite dispenser, a pouch of Suma D10 detergent and two empty trigger bottles for cleaning and sanitising worktops, equipment, tools, cabinets and areas where food is stored or prepared.

Both packs are supplied with full instructions for easy installation and simple operation. The dispenser is wall mounted for easy access and no plumbing or electrical connection is required. A simple push of the button ensures the correct dose is delivered every time. The patented built-in repeat delay prevents accidental overdosing and reduces wastage.

Each detergent pouch is colour coded to match the dispenser which minimises the risk of cross contamination from using the incorrect product. When the dispenser is positioned above a sink the Suma D1 detergent is delivered direct to the bowl via an integral spout. The Suma D10 is dispensed into ergonomic colour coded spray bottles which have a clever neck device to prevent them being dosed by the wrong dispenser.

The combination of highly accurate dosing and concentrated detergent leads to significant improvement in cost control and efficiency because no product is wasted. Each pouch of Suma D10, for example, can produce up to 150 spray bottles which equates to around 12p per bottle, significantly less than premixed products bought in a supermarket or wholesaler.

The Suma pouches are easy to handle and require less storage space than premixed products or large and unwieldy canisters. The pouches are recyclable and can be compacted and folded after use. This results in 92 per cent less plastic waste than conventional packaging which reduces the overall environmental impact and maximises savings on disposal costs. Concentrated detergents are more cost effective because they require less packaging and water is only added at the point of use. This reduces the overall cost and impact of production and supply chain because more product can be carried in a smaller volume and there is no need to transport water.
