Waterlogic helps the environment
We realise that the need for a refreshing tumbler of ice-cold water has probably been the last thing on the minds of most of those living in the UK right now, (when you consider that many of us were in our winter woolies and we've had to put the heating on) but we all understand how our actions can affect the environment and how our businesses are encouraged to be more environmentally sustainable.
PHS Waterlogic is endeavouring to help us achieve our environmental policies by tapping into, filtering and chilling mains water on-site. A Waterlogic dispenser does away with the need for large, non-biodegradable plastic bottles, and the need for constant, environment-polluting deliveries to ensure water supply.
The system, which is fully compliant to the WEEE Directive, goes into 'sleep mode' to reduce energy use. When empty, the eco-friendly dispensers, made from environmentally friendly materials, are returned to a recycling and disposal centre where they are de-gassed. The gas is reused, all plastics are melted down and the metal is broken and recycled.
