Green aromas

Signature Aromas is offering what it believes is one of the most environmentally-friendly air fragrancing systems available for commercial use.

The company does not use chemical or artificial elements to create its extensive range of aromas, but 100% natural oils. This means they are perfectly safe to use around people and animals. Nor will they damage fixtures and fittings, which can happen with some chemical propellants.

Each of the oil-impregnanted disks and cubes are COSHE approved and are made using a minimum of 60% recycled product and binder. Once they expire the disks and cubes themselves can be disposed off as paper waste, as they are classified as fully biodegradable.

"We have spent a considerable amount of time and money developing our natural oil fragrancing systems Vaparoma, Suparoma and Restaroma and believe that not only are they better for you healthwise, but they also improve the ambience of an environment," says Brian Chappell, Managing Director of Signature Aromas.

"Furthermore, they are eco-friendly."

Signature offers nearly 50 different aromas to choose from as standard; some are uplifting, others more calming; while for certain clients a bespoke aroma can be created.

All the systems can be connected to the mains or run off batteries and can treat areas from 1,000 to 10,000 cubic feet without the use of aerosols or chemicals.

Signature has now installed its natural air fragrancing systems in nearly 300 hospitals, care and nursing homes across the UK, as well as in various high street stores, where they quickly, safely and effectively improve air ambience - ideal whenever patients, staff and customers are in the vicinity.

"Our systems neutralise air malodours in all manner of environments and provide what we believe is a superior alternative to ozone cleaning," continues Brian.

"We actively encourage clients to change their aromas from

time to time, as the nose becomes immune to familiar smells. Now that we are entering Springtime we have some delightful aromas which conjure up the real essence of Spring... freshly cut grass, cherry and spring meadow are some of the obvious choices."

The units are manufactured in the UK and can be either stainless steel or plastic cased.   They each work with 12-gram disks of COSHE approved essential oils, which last for approximately six weeks before they need boosting.
