Low pressure, hot water cleaners are environmentally friendly
Called 'ph-cleantec', M Buttkereit's latest mobile and static low pressure, hot water cleaners provide a flexible, safe and efficient cleaning performance, with low atmospheric splashback to ensure a minimal ecological and environmental impact.
The cleaners use water at a temperature of 95°C, as the primary cleaning medium, with adjustable operating pressures from 3 to 14 bar, depending upon the cleaner model being used.
The units are particularly suited to general cleaning applications in the general industrial, engineering, food processing and construction industries, as well as associated conveyors, chain drive systems and storage tanks etc. Separate collector units can also be provided for cleaning either individual large components or medium batch sizes of smaller items. These latter items could be new machined parts or products due to be re-assembled following service, as typically found in garages or other plant repair and maintenance establishments.
Four models are available in the range, two incorporating built-in collector surfaces ideal for brush cleaning of smaller parts. The 600 SR operates at a fixed 4.5 bar water jet pressure with a self contained 30 litre water reservoir. The largest 1000 SR operates at between 3 and 7.5 bar pressure, suitable for cleaning smaller or delicate items, and is fitted with a 60 litre reservoir.
The two remaining models can be used with fixed collector units designed for cleaning larger or heavier weight components. The 1000 SRE model has the same operating pressures and reservoir capacity as the 1000 SR unit. The fourth more powerful 1000 SRE-DH/DP model operates at water pressures of 8 - 14 bar for high-performance cleaning operations.
All models operate from a 400V 3ph 50Hz supply and can achieve 95°C working water temperature (90°C for 600 SR unit) within only 60 seconds, with 70dBA sound levels during operation. A highly efficient alkaline detergent can also be dispensed by the three largest models where heavily polluted or burned-on cleaning operations are involved. The detergent can also be used with a coolant lubricator having anti-corrosive additives, and is suitable for use where subsequent lacquering or other surface treatments are required.
A full range of spray accessories for all models is also available to cover a wide range of cleaning requirements.
