High achieving school appoints specialist cleaning provider for sparkling results
Edmonton County School, a large educational establishment serving the communities of Enfield and Edmonton, has engaged the services of specialist contract cleaning company, Julius Rutherfoord. The contract has been awarded during a period of extensive building and refurbishment, as the school evolves and expands.
High quality education is provided for pupils aged between 4-19 across two campuses, Bury and Cambridge. As part of its commitment to provide students with a rich learning environment, the school has opened brand new state-of-the art educational amenities at its Bury campus. New buildings include maths and science facilities, a sixth form common room, music and practice rooms, and new design suites.
The school has recently expanded into primary education provision, and further building work on the Bury site includes a hall and dining space for this age group, as well as conversion and remodelling of existing classrooms. The library on the Cambridge campus has also been refurbished.
Julius Rutherfoord was chosen as the school's cleaning provider due to its proven reputation in the education sector and previous expertise in managing cleaning contracts under the difficult circumstances of renovation and building works. Strict employee vetting procedures are in place to help safeguard the security of buildings, staff and children.
Additionally, the London-based cleaning provider has a proven track record of preventing infection outbreaks such as norovirus in schools, through superb standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Daily cleaning of a wide variety of hard floor surfaces is undertaken across the two sites, using specialist machines and innovative cleaning methods. More intense deep cleans are undertaken during the school holidays.
