Cromwell takes a new approach to recycling

* Cromwell.jpgCromwell Polythene has taken the 'on your bike' philosophy to heart... Six Cromwell employees, including managing director James Lee, are all sporting specially designed cycling jerseys and shorts, paid for by the company as part of its keep fit strategy, when they take to the roads.

Between them, Team Cromwell cycle thousands of miles each year, ensuring that the colourful message gains maximum exposure.

"There's always been something of a cycling culture within the company," says James Lee. "We're keen to encourage high levels of fitness among our employees and this seemed like a fun way of promoting brand awareness at the same time. Indeed, the team recently completed a 'just for fun' ride from Sherburn to Scarborough and back, some 119 miles."
