ISS Greece awarded for innovative safety- and people practices
In competition with other global industry leaders such as Coca-Cola and Vodafone, industry contractor ISS Greece has received four safety- and people-related awards in 2015. The awards highlight the company's innovative workplace practices.
ISS Greece received, among others, a Silver award in the category 'Healthy Workplace Campaigns' for the campaign 'Me & You'. The award follows last year's performance where ISS Greece received Gold in the same category.
"It's a great honour to receive such an award for the second consecutive year," says marketing manager of ISS Greece Zoi Zachariadou. "Our employees, who provide services at our customers' premises, are exposed to many potential risks every day. Our constant focus as well as the campaign's goal have been to maintain awareness and vigilance to ensure that our people are returning to their homes, after their shift, safe and sound."
ISS competed with the largest companies operating in Greece such as Coca-Cola, Vodafone and the National Bank of Greece to receive the awards from Boussias Communications, a leading Greek business information company.
Earlier this year, ISS Greece received three other awards in the HR-related categories Best Team Building Programme, Best Employee Engagement Initiative, and Talent Development Programme.
Country Manager of ISS Greece Michalis Roussos says:
"I am very proud of these awards, as they concern our service performance facilitating our customers' purpose through people empowerment. I am especially proud of the honourable distinction award for a local innovative talent programme."
