Business Performance Group acquires janitorial sales agency Sans Peur from owner Rob Sutherland

Rob Sutherland has joined The Business Performance Group UK as business development director, Jan/San, as part of The Business Performance Group's acquisition of Sans Peur (Spa Fitting and Cleaning). Rob will be reporting to Jade Wilson, sales director.

Gordon Christiansen, non-executive director, is excited about what this acquisition means for The Business Performance Group. "With Rob's assistance we will now add Soluclean, ecgo, SpaceVac, Everstrong and Verdoni to our existing partners in this category, including Kimberly-Clark and Unger," he says. "We've got bold aspirations in the cleaning and broader facilities maintenance categories, and are always looking at new vendors that we can work with."

Gordon went on to discuss that this acquisition will complement the proven representation model that The Business Performance Group's partner, The Highlands Group, delivers within the JanSan market in North America. "We are now firmly poised in Europe to accelerate in this area," he says.

The Business Performance Group is enthusiastic about further developing this category with an impressive portfolio and Rob's expertise in the cleaning and FM industries. Rob has extensive experience in cleaning products and services, having specialised in the healthcare and FM segments at Newell Rubbermaid for over seven years. Since then, Rob has represented and developed manufactures under his agency Sans Peur.

Rob is a founding member of the Hill Club, a group that provides networking opportunities for the cleaning industry. He is also a Senior Steward for the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, the Livery company of London for the cleaning industry, and a Freeman of the City of London.

Rob is attending the ISSA/Interclean 2015 show in Las Vegas, Nevada, this week, to speak with vendors about representation in the UK as part of The Business Performance Group. "Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," says Rob. "We will be developing more relationships in the cleaning and facilities maintenance categories with every intent to grow their businesses utilising The Business Performance Group's suite of services. I am thrilled to put my skills to work to grow a category that I am so passionate about."
