Registration opens for ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam 2016

* interclean.jpgRecognised as the leading global event for the cleaning and hygiene industry, ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam will again be taking place at Amsterdam RAI this Spring.

Running from 10th - 13th May 2016, the event is set to be bigger and better than ever, introducing many new initiatives and innovations and bringing together 30,000 attendees from more than 130 countries to see the latest products, technologies and solutions the sector has to offer.

Visitors are inspired by pioneering new technologies and the opportunity to meet more than 700 of the world's leading manufacturers.

ISSA/Interclean provides an unrivalled environment to network across countries, industry sectors and technologies and the 2016 event will see the first ever InnovationLab (pictured). Located in Hall 9, the InnovationLab showcases infrastructure products and software tools nominated for the Amsterdam Innovation Award 2016, hosts seminars, workshops, debates and presentations at InnovationLab on stage and features the InnovationLab Newsroom with live and recorded interviews from across the event.

Other new features taking the visitor experience to a new level include free Wi-Fi access and a new ISSA/Interclean app. This valuable networking tool is free to all visitors and enables them to instantly acquire and exchange contact information and exclusive content. The App offers a pocket-sized guide to the show with full exhibitor list, complete exhibitor profiles, a new product list, exhibition information and social media links.

"The new App offers another opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to connect at the show," says Rob den Hertog, manager ISSA/Interclean. "In the App, exhibitors showcase their new products and provide company information. It makes it easier than ever match visitors and exhibitors and guarantees an improved trade show experience for both."

The ISSA Educational Seminar programme is a world-leading forum for debate and knowledge exchange, bringing together a mix of visionary keynotes, panel discussions and speed sessions with the most influential thought leaders, opinion formers and cutting edge organisations shaping the industry's future.

Attracting top-level executives, technical experts and visionaries from around the globe, the conference affords exclusive access to valuable new insights and industry-leading contacts.

Focusing on some of the biggest issues facing the cleaning and hygiene industry today, the programme running on 10th and 11th May includes topics as diverse as: opportunities created by the circular economy, how to make the most of advances in data gathering, adapting to changes in the industry supply chain and growing profitability against a background of downward cost pressures.

Further sessions will also look at the benefits of leasing rather than purchasing new equipment and how quality cleaning improves safety while lowering risk and cost.

The seminar programme also includes a series of industry trend updates taking place in the InnovationLab. These are a series of 15-minute rapid-fire presentations designed to bring visitors quickly up to date with a range of industry trends and issues and will run from 12:00 to 14:30 each day.

Free-to-attend feature areas and events are a popular element of ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam and this year are set to be better than ever. Demonstrations will include industrial cleaning machines, street sweepers and refuse trucks, high-rise platforms and window cleaning.

Established at ISSA/Interclean Amsterdam 2012, the Young Cleaning Professionals (YCP) held in Amsterdam has grown to a popular programme for students and new professionals working within the industry. It provides exposure to the widest and most varied range of experiences possible and will help attendees get their foot in the door, aid personal development, offer opportunities to meet others in a similar position, and provide inspiration from existing Young Cleaning Professionals who are already making their way in the industry.
