Praesidio: A new standard for touchless hand hygiene in public areas

One of the products that caught our attention in Amsterdam last week was Ophardt Hygiene-Technik's new Praesidio, which is said to provide a new standard for touchless hand hygiene in public areas.

Made from high-quality stainless steel housing and measuring W 506mm x H 333.5mm x D 173.7mm, the large capacity, lockable unit has a hygienic spray chamber where the innovative sprayhead function delivers a precise spray cone that covers both hands. There is an integrated drip tray too.

Compatible with the Euro bottle standard for 1,000 ml bottles, the unit offers quick bottle exchange (there is a bottle replacement compartment inside) and there is a window for filling level control. Intuitive handling - due to the reliable touchless sensor - and adjustable dosage, offers real flexibility, as does the option for wall or column mounting.

There is also the option of a door contact function, which opens the washroom door when the dispenser is activated, for improved hygiene.

The unit, which is easy to clean, boasts a long battery operating time - although it can be specified with external power supply.
