Riwal expands in the Netherlands

Riwal, the aerial work platform and telehandler rental specialist, has opened a new depot in the port of Rotterdam.

Opening the new depot in an area of the port known as Maasvlakte 2, is in line with Riwal's strategy of providing broad market coverage and strengthening Riwal's local presence.

"Our business in the port of Rotterdam is continuously growing," says Johan van Klinken, the country manager for Riwal Benelux. "From this new location, Riwal can further accelerate the rental process and easily provide access solutions to customers for any job to be done at height in the port area.

"It establishes close proximity to service our customers while maximising transport efficiency."

Maasvlakte Rotterdam is Riwal's eighth depot in the Benelux region.

The Riwal Holding Group, established in 1968 and headquartered in The Netherlands, is an international rental and sales specialist of aerial work platforms, telehandlers and power generators. Riwal employs over 1,500 people, has depot operations in 16 countries and conducts business in over 60 countries.
