ISS wins five-year IFS contract with global biotech company
ISS has won a five-year contract with a phased-in commencement from 1st June 2017, which builds on an existing customer relationship with Shire, a global biotechnology company. The contract's scope and geographical footprint are now expanded to include more than 40 countries.
The services cover cleaning, janitorial, building maintenance, waste management, pest control, landscaping, uniforms & gowning, catering, security and other facility services and will allow Shire to focus on its core business. The goal is to drive consistency, better performance, improved service levels, and enhanced management of expenses.
"We are very proud that we are entrusted with this global Integrated Facility Service contract," says Andrew Price, ISS Group chief commercial officer.
"It shows the level of trust and partnership we have built to date and we remain committed to providing high-quality and reliable services to help reduce complexity and mitigate risk."
ISS' Integrated Facility Services offering provides customers with all the services they need at a uniform quality level across the board, delivered by a single provider.
ISS has a large customer portfolio within pharma and biotech companies and has a strong understanding of the complexity and the level of compliance and quality needed to service the industry.
