Citron Hygiene acquires Alpine Jan-San
Citron Hygiene, (formerly Cannon Hygiene Canada) renowned for its commercial washroom and foodservice hygiene products and services and pest control solutions, as well as a broad range of chemical and other facility-based products and services announced yesterday that it has acquired Alpine Jan-San, effective March 21st, 2017.
Alpine is one of Alberta, Canada's leading providers of commercial washroom hygiene services and serves a broad range of customers including leading retailers, foodservice establishments, commercial, manufacturing and industrial businesses.
"This acquisition supports our acquisitive corporate growth strategy and will significantly enhance our presence and density in the Alberta market on the heels of our Sani-Service acquisition completed in September 2016, our initial entry into this market," said Citron Hygiene president and CEO Peter Farrell.
"Alpine has long been the dominant washroom hygiene service provider in that market and I am delighted that Alpine's owners, Ray and Kim Olthof, felt that we were the right buyer for their company."
Added Ray and Kim Olthof: "We wanted to ensure that we sold to a company that fully understood our business and would look after our employees and loyal customers in keeping with our tradition.

Citron's acquisition quest does not stop here, as Peter Farrell was quick to poing out, saying:
