Registration now open for Deb Group's second Annual Happy Hands contest

* Deb-Happy-Hands.jpgRegistration is now open for Deb Group's second annual Happy Hands dispenser design contest. The contest aims to educate students about the importance of hand washing, while also allowing them to express their artistic sides through the creation of an original design for a Deb dispenser.

"Kids don't always listen when parents or teachers tell them to wash their hands, so we wanted to find a way to make hand hygiene fun," explains Isabelle Faivre, vice president of marketing, Deb USA.

"The Happy Hands contest gives students an opportunity to be imaginative while learning about the importance of hand washing. We were overwhelmed by the response we received from last year's contest and can't wait to see all the creative designs we receive this year."

Eureka McCormick, art teacher at Dieck Elementary, a winning school in the 2016 Happy Hands contest, says: "Winning the Happy Hands contest was such an honor for our students and school. Our students had so much fun participating in the contest and it served as the perfect way to show students that hand washing can be fun."

Designs will be accepted through 30th November, 2017. Finalists in each category will be announced on 1st February, 2018 and the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite designs. The designs with the highest numbers of votes in each category will receive the grand prize - a $200 gift card, a $500 donation to the school and up to 500 manual Deb soap/sanitiser dispensers custom-printed with the winning design.

Schools that register for the contest will receive all the necessary rules, colouring templates and free hand washing educational materials for their students and can register online at:
