Polo to polio - more building support service wins for Regent Samsic

* Polo-to-polio.jpgThe second quarter of 2017 saw further uplift in building support services provider Regent Samsic's market share with key contract gains including fashion icon Ralph Lauren.

Apparel and home interiors brand Ralph Lauren appointed the Coventry-based service support provider to clean the fashion icon's UK retail outlets as part of a global contract won by French parent Groupe Samsic.

The £750,000 contract takes in 16 stores and four offices in the UK and a further two stores in Ireland.

It's the second major high street fashion win this year for Regent Samsic which in the spring won the contract to provide horizontal and vertical cleaning to Hugo Boss's 40 retail sites across the UK.

Regent Samsic London is the newly incumbent contractor to provide cleaning and security services to the capital's School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine within a contract valued at almost £1m.

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health with over 4,000 students and more than 1,000 staff working in over 100 countries across the world.

Premises include the School's principal site in Keppel Street in Bloomsbury, London and its faculty in Tavistock Place.

In Leeds, Regent Samsic's northern operations have won leisure cleaning accounts with Leeds University's Edge Fitness centre and new £5m Brownlee Centre and cycle track.
