Jangro enhances floorcare education

* Jangro-floorcare.jpgJangro, the UK and Ireland's largest network of independent janitorial suppliers, has recently enhanced its floorcare education to help cleaning operatives achieve impeccably clean and flawless-looking floors, with the introduction of a new Floor Pad Guide.

Available to download from the Jangro website, the guide is designed to help choose the correct pad for the floor type and the required job - whether that is stripping, cleaning or polishing - and includes a handy colour-coding system for easy identification.

Jangro floor pads come in a variety of sizes from 10in. to 21in., with various abrasions to help achieve the best possible results for all types of floors. Open web construction facilitates easier dirt pick-up and faster cleaning of pads under running water. They can also be used on both sides.

In addition to the floorcare guide, Jangro offers two courses on Carpet Care and Floorcare as part of its award-winning 'Learning Management Solution'. The online training programme also boasts a 'How to mop a floor' Task Card - a short highly visual cleaning guide, which can be downloaded as a PDF or animated video.

Whether you are looking to polish floors to perfection, or need to eradicate unwanted odours, Jangro offers a range of supplies ideal for the job, from cleaners and polishers to treatments and gels. As well as the floor guide and LMS Task Card, Jangro offers a host of Floorcare Charts and Machine Instructional Videos on its website.

"Flooring is one of the first things people notice when they walk into a building, and first impressions count," notes Joanne Gilliard, operations director at Jangro. "Not only is a clean and well-maintained floor critical to prevent slips, falls and accidents, but it is also good for business - customers judge facilities based on their perception of its cleanliness!

"The knowledge of the different types of flooring is therefore essential to ensure they are cleaned effectively and properly maintained".
