RAI Amsterdam once again supports AMREF Flying Doctors
The proceeds of the Amsterdam Innovation Awards, which come from the entry fees, are donated to AMREF Flying Doctors, to support their projects in Kilindi, Tanzania. Their Mission is to improve the general health of girls and young woman by introducing the alternative rite of passage for female genital cutting and increasing the access to safe drinking water, good sanitation and hygiene.
This year, the Awards have contributed 12,000 Euros to the organisation's funding.
