Interclean Amsterdam's Full Circle Exhibition reaffirms its position in the industry

* Interclean-Amsterdam-Healthcare.jpgThe 2018 edition of Interclean Amsterdam has been the largest, most international exhibition yet, made up of busy days. The show attracted a record number of visitors, from more countries than ever before.

With a combination of old and new segments, Interclean Amsterdam was able to offer a complete overview of the newest technologies and trends in the professional cleaning market. The robot arena, the InnovationLAB and the new Healthcare Cleaning Forum and LAB were particularly popular.

During Interclean Amsterdam 2018, visitors were able to enjoy countless activities on exhibitor stands. This included a folklore performance, a basketball court, and virtual reality demonstrations - all of which enhanced the exhibition experience. More visitors than ever spent three days on the show floor, resulting in a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

The new elements we've brought in have been well received, and there's little to improve on. The quality of the visitors has been exceptional, we're immensely pleased with the exhibition overall and we're looking forward to 2020."

Rob den Hertog, director Interclean Global Events at RAI Amsterdam is delighted with the feedback he has received: "Our statistics do tell you something, but it's the testimonies that really spoke to me," he says. "A great number of people took the time to tell me how much they enjoyed the atmosphere, which I find just as important as, if not more than, the numbers. Interclean was the place to be for our industry this year, and I'm very pleased with the results!"

At this year's Interclean Amsterdam, the floor plan was comprised of stands from 892 companies, located across 47 countries. A grand total of 33,710 professionals from 143 countries visited over the four days. As many as 77% of the visitors came from outside the Netherlands with some interesting newcomers; Jamaica, Seychelles, Swaziland, Mongolia and Bolivia.

Innovations have always been the number one reason for visitors to visit the show - and the Amsterdam Innovation Award, and the InnovationLAB, put the latest professional cleaning innovations in the spotlight.

Also taking place alongside Interclean Amsterdam 2018 was the first ever International Healthcare Cleaning Forum. This brought 300 healthcare professionals from 46 countries together to explore and discuss the biggest challenges and solutions in healthcare cleaning today. The Forum complemented the rest of the exhibition - showcasing the latest innovations in healthcare cleaning, through expert demonstrations and seminars.

Established in Amsterdam in 1967, the world-leading Interclean events are organised by RAI Amsterdam. The Interclean brand represents products and solutions that tackle a wide range of challenges within the professional cleaning industry.
