New head of Nilfisk in Europe, Middle East and Africa boasts global profile

* Steen_Nilfisk.jpgNilfisk has appointed Steen Lindbo as new executive vice president for Nilfisk in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Steen brings to the role more than 25 years' international experience from the power tool and hand tool industry, working for the US-founded company Stanley Black & Decker.

Throughout his career, he has filled several management roles both in the Nordics, Europe and globally. Most recently he has headed up the Handtool, Accessory and Storage Division for Stanley Black & Decker across Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Hans Henrik Lund, CEO for Nilfisk comments:

"Europe, Middle East and Africa are all highly important markets for Nilfisk and we are looking to grow across the region.

"Steen brings years of international experience to Nilfisk and has worked with key account management and commercial development in almost all markets.

"I am fully confident that he has the right capabilities and mind-set to support our customers' businesses and grow Nilfisk across the region," says Hans Henrik Lund.

According to Steen, who took on his role on 1st September, it was the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers combined with the current transformation of the cleaning industry, that attracted him to Nilfisk.

"The professional cleaning industry is in the middle of a very exiting transformation with technologies paving the way for new intelligent ways of cleaning," he says. "Nilfisk has a clear ambition to lead this transformation, and I look very much forward to being part of this journey.

"Having worked with B2B sales my entire career has also made me very humble and aware of the importance of good customer relations. You can launch an innovative solution one day and the next day your competitors might have a similar solution on the market.

"So, it all comes down to how well you service your customers and bring value to their business."
