TCFM and BHF partnership shortlisted for important cleaning award

* TCFM-BHF.jpgTC Facilities Management tells us it is delighted to have reached the finalist stages of the Corporate Social Responsibility category, Cleaning & Support Services Association awards 2019, for its work with the British Heart Foundation; the charity that conducts groundbreaking research in to heart and circulatory diseases and their causes.

The winners will be announced next month at an invitation-only lunch event, taking place during the Cleaning Show on Wednesday 20th March, 2019, in London.

The CSSA awards recognise and reward excellence and effectiveness across many sectors of the UK contract cleaning industry and have been developed to acknowledge everything that shines within the UK cleaning sector - including great products, great systems, great contractors, and great individuals. The strength of the awards is that they are run for the industry, by the industry and voted for by industry experts.

TCFM's approach to working with the British Heart Foundation has not only helped the contractor raise funds for their life-saving research through providing specialist cleaning services in the charity's furniture & electrical stores across the country, it has seen the many thousands of colleagues at TCFM only a hairs-breadth away from achieving its annual fundraising challenge of £5K. This has taken the organisation just over four months, since the National Charity agreement started in September.

Tony Reed, CEO for TCFM comments:

"We're overjoyed to have been shortlisted for these awards that recognises our commitment to making a difference in people's lives by the services we deliver as well as playing our part in helping to beat beartbreak forever."

Millie Coulter, regional fundraising manager for BHF says: "Being shortlisted for the CSSA awards is a fantastic achievement for TC Facilities Management and recognises how much the company cares about helping us achieve our aim of beating heartbreak forever. The results it has provided with its professional cleaning services has made a significant difference.

"Now, having gone one step further in creating a national charity partnership with us and seeing the speed with which the team has worked together to achieve the 5K challenge has made us feel even more excited about the future of working with TCFM."
