Finding ways in which we can reduce water consumption is of huge importance in the cleaning industry, especially given the vast amount of water used during even simple cleaning operations.

Additionally, service providers and end users are under constant pressure to increase productivity and reduce wasted time, so finding a solution to these issues is extremely important throughout the industry.

The ICE Aqua Smart (Non-Stop Cleaning) unit is an innovative system which recycles and filters the water used to clean floors. The system is available within the ICE R Scrub 85 (NSC), or as a separate unit that can be used with any scrubber dryer.

The same water can be reused for a week (based on three - four hours use per day), which not only dramatically reduces water consumption, but also saves cleaning operators time as they don't have to keep emptying and refilling the machine.

The ICE R Scrub 85 (NSC), is supplied complete with an on-board, non-stop cleaning system. This means that the same water can be reused for a week without having to empty and refill the tanks.

Not only does this dramatically cut waste consumption but it also saves valuable time and labour, allowing for longer run times and helping to improve productivity, saving up to 25% of man hours per year. Additionally, the self-cleaning function of the filtering system gives a saving of up to 90% on water associated with cleaning operations.

For even greater water savings and efficiency, both the standalone unit and the cleaning machine that contains the water-saving tank can be used together. This is where the real impact lies as it results in a scrubber dryer that can use the same water for a week, alongside a treatment system that can clean the water for reuse over and over again.

The separate Aqua Smart (Non-Stop Cleaning) unit is essentially a washing machine for water. The dirty water from the scrubber dryer is loaded directly into the unit and in just 30 minutes it can clean up to 150 litres of water.

The dirt from the water is separated, collected in bags and dehydrated - making it easy to dispose of. This independent, freestanding system gives the benefits of the on-board system, but can be used with any type of scrubber dryer. The filtered water can either be reused or safely disposed of as waste.
