Danish Building & Property Agency chooses ISS as its FM partner

* Danish-Building-Agency.jpgThe Danish Building & Property Agency, the state's property enterprise and developer, has announced that it has selected ISS Denmark as its partner in wave One of the Government's comprehensive integrated facility services outsourcing plan. The agreement has a total value of about DKK two billion over seven years. The contract is expected to be finalised after 15th April 2019.

"ISS has significant capacity in the market, and we look forward to starting a strong partnership, where we can jointly develop, improve and professionalise an area with huge potential." Says Rasmus Brandt Lassen, director of the Danish Building & Property Agency.

"We work with three core benchmarks for the solution: efficiency, quality and user satisfaction. Together with ISS, we will take up this challenge to ensure that the public institutions can focus on their core purpose to an even greater extent."

The agreement comes into effect on 1st October 2019 and will cover 162 locations. ISS will deliver services in catering, internal and external property maintenance, cleaning, security, support services and waste management.

Flemming Bendt, Country Manager for ISS Denmark, says:

"We are pleased and proud that the Danish Building & Property Agency has chosen us as its partner, and we look forward to working with it to ensure that the conditions are right for state authority employees and their guests to be able to focus on their core tasks.

"At the same time, I'm thrilled that we can welcome more than 200 new colleagues who will join ISS as part of the agreement."

As with all Danish public outsourcing agreements, there is a stand-still period of 10 days, allowing the contract to be signed no sooner than 16th April 2019.
