Ecocleen selects Keep Britain Tidy as its corporate charity

* Ecocleen-Keep-Britain-Tidy.jpgEcocleen has selected Keep Britain Tidy as its corporate charity for the next 12 months. The company, a leading commercial contract cleaning provider, will raise awareness of the charity's campaign to reduce litter, improve local places and prevent waste as well as raise more than £5,000.

"Ecocleen is passionate about the environment, so we share common goals and objectives with Keep Britain Tidy when it comes to creating a cleaner, greener country," comments Jean-Henri Beukes, managing director of Ecocleen. "As an eco-engaged business with a green heritage, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to operate in a sustainable manner."

Ecocleen will undertake fundraising events and waste reduction initiatives throughout the year to support Keep Britain Tidy, which is committed working with people, businesses, organisations and public bodies to better care for the environment. In particular, Ecocleen will be raising money at its customer and partner day that takes place in July during the Henley Royal Regatta. The company's staff will also be involved in the clean-up and litter picking following the annual rowing event.

"There was overwhelming support within the business to choose a charity that is committed to creating sustainable practices and eliminating unnecessary waste," explains Jean-Henri.

"We are immensely proud to have the opportunity to support an organisation that is inspiring people to eliminate litter and end waste for now and future generations. We already have some activities planned, so we will be working hard to exceed our target of £5,000 while raising awareness of Keep Britain Tidy in everything we do."

Ecocleen has set up a JustGiving page for anyone wanting to donate valuable funds to Keep Britain Tidy, at:
