ISSA's new CMI Consulting Program will improve service providers' performance

* Tim-Poskin.jpgService providers are under extreme pressure to perform at high levels with a reduction in resources and ISSA's new Cleaning Management Institute Consulting Program, developed in collaboration with Cleaning Change Solutions, will help cleaning organisations advance and reorganise their operations and systems through a holistic, seven-step approach.

The program provides a multi-touch, consultative methodology to assess people, processes, appearances and logistics and - ultimately - evaluate the quality of transformation. Improvements are achieved through a series of consultations centered on culture, training, leadership and workloading.

"We have learned from industry professionals - specifically service providers - that they feel a pressing need to implement a complete change through a multi-phased approach," says Brant Insero, ISSA director of education, training, certifications and standards. "We couldn't be prouder to partner with Cleaning Management Concepts to deliver the Cleaning Change Solutions platform to the industry."

Tim Poskin (pictured), founder and systems integrator for Cleaning Change Solutions, says:

"Our goal is to help cleaning organisations go from chaotic and reactive to a standardised system utilising innovative solutions that result in profitability and long-term sustainability.

"We pride ourselves on our ability to drive measurable results to help our clients improve and gain consistency."

Tim's colleague, Jenean Merkel Perelstein - process owner for culture change and leadership training for Cleaning Change Solutions - adds:

"CMI Consulting helps overwhelmed cleaning organisations that are struggling to upgrade and improve job satisfaction at all levels.

"There is enormous value in the role cleaning plays in our society, and we're helping to make that role more effective."

One such member of ISSA Canada, TAAB Cleaning Services of Toronto, sourced the CMI Consulting Program through Cleaning Change Solutions to assess its operations potential. Beginning with the on-site assessment, this company began to see improvements in its training, operating systems and culture. Ultimately, it saved time, effort and money. In addition, there is now a healthier work environment for employees and a holistic service provided to customers.

The team behind the CMI Consulting Program has more than 150 years' experience implementing standardised systems that work for cleaning organisations of all sizes. Consulting services are available to ISSA members in the US, Canada, UK and Latin America.

The Cleaning Management Institute - the education arm of ISSA - is focused on certification, training, education and career improvement for professionals in the commercial and residential cleaning/facilities maintenance industry. A broad curriculum is available to industry professionals at all levels, including frontline workers, managers, supervisors and executives. CMI provides professionals in all aspects of the cleaning industry with the knowledge they need to improve their skills and advance their careers.

This, in turn, raises the quality and service levels that their companies provide to customers and building occupants. Achieving CMI certifications provides the opportunity for professionals to prove their legitimacy to potential employers and clients.
