West Middlesex University Hospital renews contract with ISS Healthcare
West Middlesex University Hospital, part of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, has renewed its contract with ISS Healthcare, worth more than £40m over the full five-year period.
The contract, which has already commenced, will see ISS provide a full range of soft FM services, including: healthcare cleaning, pest control, window cleaning, waste management, linen and laundry, patient and retail catering, non-emergency patient transport, portering, switchboard and security. ISS will also be investing in innovation and technology, to support service delivery across the site.
ISS also provides services to the Trust's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital site.
"We are very pleased to extend our partnership with West Middlesex University Hospital, and indeed the whole Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust," says Chris Ash, managing director of ISS Healthcare. "This hospital is a very important customer to ISS Healthcare and we are looking forward to bringing further innovation to our services and developing our value propositions to build upon the excellent quality of services delivered in the previous contract."
Gary Dockrell, assistant general manager at ByWest, the PFI's SPV adds: "ByWest, as the Trust's PFI partner, is delighted that ISS has been successful in being awarded a further five-year contract to deliver the Soft FM Services at West Middlesex University Hospital. This award is testament to the high standards, professional approach and commitment demonstrated by ISS over the previous five years. We look forward to continuing our relationship with ISS, as our service provider partner."
